Celebrity Diet Gossip: New 90210 Stars Too Skinny?

Is that CW show 90210 90210 hurting the body acceptance movement? I think this show is the worst thing for girls' self esteem since Photoshop was first introduced.

It's reported that two of the main characters whose names you most likely don't know yet but are Shanea Grimes and Jessica Stroup are withering away. While supportive costars want you to believe their metabolisms are just really high, one insider told US weekly, "the two are chain smokers" and refrain from all food on set. Shenae weighs an estimated 90 lbs while Jessica who is 5 inches taller at 5'8'' weighs only 100 lbs. These are estimates made by looking at their bony frames but readers are outraged and demanding producers encourage the young stars to gain weight! Is the show setting a bad example at what a successful 18 year old is suppose to look like?

Friends and costars of the show stand by the girls claiming they naturally have high metabolisms - so now are we arguing cigarettes are natural because I'm pretty sure rat poison and natural have nothing in common.

Even Gossip Girl stud Penn Badgely said he hopes they eat a cheeseburger! A little overboard, DAN, but if asked for our opinion we would say, "Did the producers try putting them on that Caltene bar diet? If you don't know what a Caltene bar is, you should probably brush up on your Lindsey Lohan DVD collection. Conversely, The girls on Gossip Girl have received praise for their shapely figures - however, I guarantee they are pissed people are comparing the lead actresses figures. Some one said the almost unattainable skinny is normal in LA, where as in New York girls are known to be shapelier. Whoa New York - I think LA just called you fat!? What are you going to say to that?!

Weigh in below, do you think the girls on the set of 90210 should be required to put some more meat on their bones? Are the leads hurting the recent progress that's been made in helping woman accept their bodies?

Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It's on a entirely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors!
